Hi all,
Here is a creature I have been working on at home for my own personal project.
When they're born, those creatures have very soft skin tissues, kind of lychee like flesh, and then their skin starts to get more rigid as they grow.
When they're very old (like this old lady), their bodies get covered with barks until they become totally rigid and can't move anymore.
Those creatures don't actually die but become part of their environment, as they are in total harmony with nature. She looks sad because she's watching her planet being destroyed without being able to do anyhing.
I used Maya, Mudbox, Bodypaint, Painter for the background, Renderman and Shake.
Comments are welcome,
Thanks!
Pascal
